I’m interested in AI tools that help with experiments, but I think the useful version needs to remember more than the final result. It should know which data version was used, what assumptions were made, which parameters changed, and what was tried before the successful run. Otherwise it becomes another assistant that gives polished answers without preserving the path that produced them. For research, the process is often as important as the outcome. Would you trust an AI research assistant that kept a detailed experiment history, or would that create too much overhead? submitted by /u/yi111
