I’m recently single and going on dates is expensive. I understand sometimes going for coffee is an easier more laid back way to get to know someone. But still sometimes you do wanna go for drinks! I have a few dates lined up and I’m wondering, for those of you who do split the bill, how do you do it smoothly / successfully? Do you give them a heads up before the date? Do you bring it up before you ask for the bill or do you just ask for a split bill when order the cheque? Note: this post purpose isn’t to debate on who should pay.
