In terms of AI takeover, if future AI models or even robots with AI can implicitly understand nuance both in the human experience and in general life then we’re safe. Understanding nuance is realising that not all humans are the problem, sure, none of us are perfect, but to say all humans are evil or incapable of being better is dichotomous thinking. A lot of the things wrong with the world, both now and throughout history, are and have been a result of the rich and powerful, not the everyday person. If AI can reach or even surpass the human understanding of that nuance, which I know some actual people do struggle with, we might have the beginning of utopia through AI governance. But I also understand it might be one of the most difficult things to achieve. Thoughts? submitted by /u/Lostsoul332
