If AI is a statistical text prediction machine, how does it analyze data? Today, I gave Claude two tables of data and had Claude compare the two sets and analyze the differences. To me this seems outside the scope of text prediction, yet Claude gave me a good analysis. Is it really analyzing the data or just giving a response that seems plausible? submitted by /u/dutchmcfrugal
