I live in Zürich surroundings. I don’t care how petty I will sound. I see many drivers ignoring the pedestrian crossings, sometimes multiple in a row. It happened that I had to pull hard on my dog so it does not get ran over. They don’t even brake. Before I cross, I always see if a car is coming and then do the first step on the road, and only if a car is in a reasonable distance to stop. I am a driver myself and I always stop when I am driving. Is there anything to do in these cases? Or wait to get ran over? If I report them to the police, does it become very complicated afterwards? Has anyone done it? submitted by /u/johntarp
