One of the biggest barriers I have to being more social, is I’m self-conscious about a lot of my interests. Nothing extreme, or anything that I even feel like I should be ashamed about, but when they did that survey about “hobbies women find attractive,” I scored two of the top ones…but also three of the bottom ones. It’s just a situation where I enjoy them and don’t feel like I should have to defend my interests like I feel like I’d have to if I really started getting to know people more often. submitted by /u/Cyberhwk
