So I was star mining in Miscellania this morning, and for some reason I started to think about Miner Magnus who was busily mining the coal nearby. I thought to myself, he’s been there a while! I searched the Wiki and found out he was introduced to the game on the 29th of November 2004, and has been mining coal non stop since then. Curiously got the better of me, so I wanted to work out how much money he might have made since then. Plugging some very rough numbers into the old rain forest killer gave me:
- 7980 days mining
- 200M XP reached after about 425 days (assuming he started at 30 mining to be able to mine coal with a steel pickaxe)
- About 75.5 million coal mined
- 3.78 billion XP gained
- About 10.27 billion GP (based on current price of 136, although that would have gone up and down since his released). Now I’m wondering, who is the richest NPC in OSRS?? submitted by /u/Montezz_101
