So a few days ago i read this thread and was so impressed i wanted to replicate it. I basically copy pasted the original reddit thread and gave it some guidance on how to make the voices locally and stuff. It gave me an artifact with multiple choice questions and voice demos for the personnas. I have a EVO-X2 laying around so i used that for local voice generation. The problem is it takes about 140 seconds of compute to generate 100 seconds of voice, so I had to pre-make about 90 ads to use as filler between the shows. The personnas are different kinds of regarded or not so regarded stock traders inspired by what I read on WSB. They are supposed to take positions during market open and they go from there. There is a boomer who only buys index funds, there is an Ape who never sells his position even when it’s down 90%, there is a Wendy’s fry cook who gets his rent paid by his wife’s boyfriend who is also on the show, etc The EVO-X2 also streams to Twitch/X and today will also plug into YouTube live. It uses an api key from finnhub to get stock alerts, and reads the front page of WSB every 61 seconds to get the day’s sentiment. It goes into loss threads to generate segments with ‘wsb guest appearances’ to explain themselves. I kind of frankensteined this together over the weekend while juggling a grumpy toddler, so lots of space to improve This is probably the funnest project I worked on so far with CC, and it costs about $0.80 day in DeepSeek API calls to generate scripts on the fly. I will add more personnas and tune the existing ones based on what they produce. it feels like i’m the exec at a news channel and giving them direction. also can probably start using okf to organize the feuds/interactions for better show script creation. Also should probalby put together a failsafe that spins up a VM on hyperstack in case the evo goes down because of a power outage. I don’t have a background in coding, just learned a bunch on the fly, so any suggestions would be helpful, I can also answer any questions if anyone wants to DM Here is the link rnn.watch submitted by /u/GrievousDmaw
