Type /join-call with a Meet link and your Claude Code session joins the call. Its own tile, its own voice, and a shared whiteboard it writes on while you talk. 2 minute demo: https://youtu.be/XhCSRiiL67A My friend Seth and I built this after getting tired of copy-pasting Granola transcripts into Claude mid-call. The question was “what if Claude could just join?” so we made it. We’ve been using it on our own calls for a few months. It’s your actual agent, running on your machine, in your repo, with full context, with all of your skills. We’ll often have it share its screen to show the app, ask it to change something, and watch it happen live while we’re still on the call! How it works: A local Electron app joins the Meet in its own browser, reads Meet’s live captions, speaks through a virtual mic, and exposes the call to Claude Code over MCP. Details: Free and open source. macOS, Windows, Linux. Works with Google Meet and Slack Huddles today. Zoom is in progress. Optimized for Claude Code, but agent-agnostic under the hood (MCP or plain HTTP), so Codex and others work too. Bring an elevenlabs key for better voices It’s early and rough. Known issues are listed in the README. Issues, PRs, and weird use cases welcome! https://github.com/wanderingstan/vibeconf-app submitted by /u/wanderingstan
