I’ve been in love with a girl who lives about 1000 km away from me for the past 5 years. During this time, she has rejected me twice. Our relationship is honestly complicated. We’re definitely more than just friends emotionally, but she’s firmly against long-distance relationships, and I can’t really blame her for that. We’ve visited each other a couple of times, gotten drunk together, spent days and nights together, and we have a lot in common and a lot of shared memories. She’s always been there for me, and I’ve done the same for her. All my friends think I’m crazy for still loving her, but she really is a big part of my life. I care about her more than anyone else.
