Small associations are kind of a weird AI use case because the same 4/5 people are usually doing member support, events, onboarding, admin, newsletters… everything 😅😅 so I’m less interested in the “build a super agent” stuff and more in the boring jobs that actually remove work. I could see chatGPT or claude being useful for staff research and drafting, “Make” handling repetitive workflows between forms, emailm CRM, and customGPT.ai being used to build a more permanent business specific agent that knows the association’s own policies, resources and website instead of starting from zero every conversation, it can also connect to other systems when the assistant needs to do more than just answer a question. Even airtable + a few automations could probably cover a surprising amount before anything gets fancy. For smaller associations actually using this stuff: what ended up becoming part of the weekly routine and what sounded great but nobody kept using? submitted by /u/Sorry_Sweet2696
