I’m building OpenAgent. it’s an hands-free assistant that operates your Mac, your browser, your social-media while you get on with your day I wanted to talk to my Mac like Tony Stark talks to Jarvis. So I started building OpenAgent. It began as a small voice bridge for Instinct (search online about it, believe me its a very cool stuff), the AI assistant I use through WhatsApp. But I wanted it to do things on my actual laptop, not just answer questions or work in a cloud browser. What I’ve put together so far: Hands-free voice sessions Local shell commands, file edits and code search. Native macOS control: clicks, typing, scrolling and app interaction etc… Chrome automation through CDP, using logged-in browser sessions. Self-hosted Firecrawl for web scraping and extraction. A social automation layer for Threads and Reddit, with persistent browser profiles. What I’m building toward is reliable whole-Mac control, including everyday app and social workflows through the UI. The pieces are there, but getting them to work together consistently is still the hard part. Voice routing, latency and safe execution need more work. It’s an active beta, not a finished autonomous assistant Repo: https://github.com/GitCoder052023/OpenAgent Trust me and give it a shot… U will definitely love it submitted by /u/Quirky-Low-7500
