The American Chestnut Trees at the former Clement State Tree Farm are vital to the continuation of their species. The American Chestnut is precious to the land - it feeds and is a home for many creatures, and it is a unique part of our land’s heritage. Over the years, due to their percieved inconvenience and the presence of blight, the American Chestnut has become severely endangered. On November 1st, construction for an Anthropic company data center will force these precious and ancient trees to be cut down. Right now there is still time to stop it but we need to act quickly.
