I’ve been using both ChatGPT and Claude to build my website and just wondered if adding this official plugin /plugin marketplace add openai/codex-plugin-cc actually helps or hinders. So far I’ve not added any scripts, plugins and yet to understand how MCPs work in my early journeys. I have both on the £20 & £18 per month plan so I use a lot of “don’t run agents, don’t do browser checks I’ll view it myself” type of commands and have never used either up until 2 months ago so very much in the learning phase about how to get the best out of them. The site itself is nextjs running on vercel hobby with plans to go to vercel pro nearer production. The journey so far has been really good fun to learn and I can’t wait to get my site up and out there but I know I’ve not been utilising these to the best even with well structured .md files and was wondering if this was worth considering or is there a better way to get the 2 to “talk” to each other. My learning tbh so far has been mainly from reading Reddit advice and doing but I have found myself leaning towards “Claude for the heavy lift, codex for changing font colours” kind of approach. If this is right or not I have no clue but it’s helped me to be able to do this on the lower price plans and get a site built that I would never have been able to build before I took the plunge and jumped in to the AI world. Any tips welcomed. submitted by /u/MetalComprehensive58
