Long before I met my girl I told myself I would never date a woman taller than me. Why? Because of my fragile masculinity. Then I met her at work. She was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. But I never even bothered to ask her out because I am too short for her she’ll never say yes I thought. I am 5’ 7” and she’s 5’ 10”. Then we started talking to each other over some work related thing and out of nowhere she said she thinks she likes me. I was so shocked I didn’t know what to say. Then later I took the opportunity asked her out and we started dating. To my surprise she never once even mentioned the height gap. The closest she was to mentioning the height difference was when she asked if I needed help reaching something. This has really helped change my mind about the fact that women are some sort of hive mind and want the same type of guy. It helped me realize that I shouldn’t let my fragile masculinity get in the way of what could otherwise be a happy and healthy relationship. submitted by /u/CandidateKey4826
