I love my girlfriend a lot, and I genuinely see a future with her. But lately I’ve been struggling with the thought that no matter how much you love someone, there’s always a possibility that things might not work out. I’ve also noticed that I tend to make her my entire world, and sometimes I feel like my happiness depends too much on her. I know that’s not healthy, and it’s something I want to work on. I’ve seen so many guys whose lives completely went downhill after losing someone they loved, and I guess I’m scared of that happening to me. I don’t want to spend my relationship worrying about a breakup that might never happen, but it’s hard not to think about sometimes. How do you guys deal with that uncertainty? How do you love someone with everything you have while also knowing that you could lose them one day? And how do you make sure you don’t lose yourself in the process? submitted by /u/collegethrowaway5445
