At least rune equipment is halfway decent, getting 99 smithing might be cool for some snowflake accounts. An iron platebody needs 33 smithing to make and 1 defence to wear. 33 for trash tier equipment that is dropped and sold everywhere. I doubt there’s a soul alive who would object if the smithing requirement for iron was lowered. A steel platebody needs 48 smithing to make and 5 defence to wear. 15 minutes after you start your account, you need 48 smithing to to make yourself a full set of gear. That’s completely insane. Again, surely nobody on this planet insists that it stay this way. So when do the objections start? submitted by /u/MaridKing
