I’m a senior developer, and Opus 5.5 has been so impressive since launch that I’ve practically been having nightmares about how long it would take Anthropic to nerf it or start messing with the usage limits. I have “CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_FEEDBACK_SURVEY”: “1” in my settings.json , which had completely suppressed the feedback survey until yesterday. Coincidentally (or perhaps not), that’s almost exactly when I noticed a significant and sustained decline in response quality with Opus 5.5 for the first time since launch, along with a noticeable increase in usage consumption. Since then, the survey has been popping up constantly, despite the setting intended to disable it. As far as I’m aware, there’s no other way to suppress it, so I’ve just been clicking “Bad” every time it asks how Claude is doing. Another user noticed the same correlation in a separate thread. I understand it’s only anecdotal, but I’m curious whether anyone else has noticed similar behavior and whether it might be more widespread. Specifically, I’m wondering whether it might be an indicator of stealth model changes, compute adjustments, or A/B testing? submitted by /u/phatstackzdevops
