Hello! Been playing (OS)RS from roughly 2002 to 2012, and have been playing on and off again around 2020-2021. I understood from someone that bots have been decreased very much as of now and I wanted to start playing again. I logged into the osrs website and the iphone game launcher successfully with my username and password. However it loaded up the world and asked me to create a new character on tutorial island. Weird because the displayed username was my original correct one. So after a quick google search, it appears you now need to create a jagex account and migrate your old character? In the login screen I type in my username and press “next” and in the next field I click the popup that asks me to migrate to / create a Jagex account. The thing is however, that it then succesfully logs me into my jagex account and it also shows my correct character display name. So I reboot the iphone osrs launcher, this time logging in with my jagex email and password, and it again offers me to migrate to a jagex account. I ignore the popup and type my jagex password 100% correctly and it tells me the password is wrong. I just reset my jagex password to make sure and it still doesn’t log me in.
