I still use Fable 5.1 for “high level” reasoning/architecture. Opus 5.5 is good, but it seems to always agree with me even when I’m wrong. So I’m still using Fable for hard decisions, but I’m so sick of the verbal diarrhea. Example from yesterday: I want to do one last bit of work late in the day, I ask a question, get a 3-pages answer. It’s late so I skim it, then ask for clarification on one sentence that’s impossible to understand, get another 3-pages answer. I end up asking “so bottom line, if i understand correctly the answer is XYZ” and get another 3-pages answer saying no, that’s not it. I’m so tired of this. I’ve really tried everything I could think of to have Fable speak in clear and concise language like Opus 5.5 but nothing does it. Now I’m at a point where I have a hook shout to it before each reply that I want a 10-line answer otherwise it’s a failed reply but it compresses the reply even more so that doesn’t work either. Any (temporary) solution until Fable 5.5 comes out? I’m really out of ideas. submitted by /u/Pristine-Trash-7155
