Hi. There was a question a short while ago about flowers that was taken down. I love flowers and wanted to explore that a bit more. I’m a gardener and love flowers for many reasons. The smell, the look, their place in our ecosystems and their ability to spark joy in all of us. My preferred flowers are all wildflowers and understated herbaceous blooms. Things like Sanguisorba alba, Verbena bonarirnsis and dark coloured Irises. I’m not such a fan of modern, shiny, over coloured, double petalled fancies - they’re garish and classless like the current POTUS. Roses are fine but I prefer old fashioned jaggy ones with a strong fragrance. submitted by /u/Electrical_Gas_517
