Was looking for some data on crime rates in 2010. The unwanted, unavoidable, overview popped up as always. I read this and immediately came here. It ranked Florida as #1 with a crime rate of 4,092 per 100,000. Even though it ranked Louisiana as #3 when it has 4,200?. Nevermind that it placed Delaware as #2 when it also has less than Louisiana!?!? How can it be this incompetent and useless? It couldn’t even present “it’s own” data correctly. Also if you go to the website it got this data from, Delaware, Arkansas and Georgia shouldn’t even be in the top 5. What it should look like: #1 South Carolina - 4,507 #2 Tennesse - 4,274 #3 Texas - 4,215 #4 Louisiana 4,200 #5 Florida Website it cited: https://www.disastercenter.com/crime/2010 Rate and Rank of Crime and Imprisonment by US States.html It’s also crazy how this list has changed so wildly in just 16 years. I came to get data on my home state (Colorado) since it now has the 2nd highest crime rate in the nation lol submitted by /u/Novel-Sentence-7298
