So I recently started using Ai for research in fluid power engineering analysis of certain functions and controllers I’ve been thinking of using. Claude, Chat gpt, Gemini and Deep seek have literally no clue and keep spitting out answers that are fundamentally wrong and even hazardous. If I didn’t understand the specific application, tasks and how the outcomes, I would’ve caused the customer a massive headache at minimum or seriously injured someone. I have a friend in construction who has started using ai extensively in his business to build and finalise projects. The scary part is if someone isn’t at a level where they can catch these errors, we will have some seriously dangerous products across different engineering fields. Is this something people notice in their other fields of occupation? submitted by /u/AutomaticGoldenSun
