For the last few years since my parents passed away, I’ve been dealing with uncertainty about all aspects of my life. I’m the type of person that will inevitably create his own stress, and for the last few days it’s been consuming me. I’m starting to see slivers of gray hair in my late 20s. I go to therapy. I take Wellbutrin. I feel like the world is slowly caving in on me and I’m going to be crushed. My company is being acquired, and layoffs are a staggering possibility. My wife and I just closed on a house, and are cleaning the other to put on the market but it slowing down makes me worried about two house payments. I’m quite literally drowning in debt from a previous divorce, court costs, etc. My kids are growing up and I feel like I’m not the father I should be for them. I try to look back and acknowledge I’ve made it through every hard thing I’ve had to deal with in the past, but this feeling of impending doom keeps coming back and putting a strain on not just my life, but my relationships with my wife, kids, and friends. How do you guys handle these intense times of uncertainty? submitted by /u/PuzzleheadedWolf4231
