As the holiday season approaches, most male gift related commercials trend towards power tools so we can do work and fix stuff, while women get the diamonds and clothing marketing. I got snow boots for my bday one year, I live in AZ and they’ve been used once. I asked my family and wife to stop getting me gifts, saying if I want something, I’ll just go get it. I am also the sole provider for my house, so my wife feels odd buying me something with “my income” despite us sharing the funds equally, I prefer it that way tbh. Have you gotten any odd gifts, or something that was a clear sign that you were an after thought? submitted by /u/CombatBeaver1
