I’ve been building Lumabook , an experiment where you read normally while illustrations come alive alongside the text. The interesting part has been getting AI to stay coherent across an entire book. Characters change faces, clothing drifts, environments lose continuity, and sometimes the model simply invents details that contradict the text. So most of the work has gone into reducing that “AI slop” and creating an engune that can keep the illustrations reasonably consistent over a long narrative. I’ve now tested it across Sherlock Holmes , The Odyssey , The Jungle Book , The Fall of the House of Usher , Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and The Ramayana . Curious what people here think. submitted by /u/yahska111
