Fellas, current ai models are unbelievable. Pure sci fi. There are instances they struggle but mostly amazing. I have doubts until gpt6. Now gpt 6 and opus 5.5 are mind blowing. I am testing gemini 4 Ar but its a bit underwhelming but still very capable. Question i have is whats the real cost. I have a feeling that openai and anthropic are offering services at subsidy on investor money. Once they go public they will have pressure to show returns. Analogy: Uber offered bargain rides until regular taxi cartels disappeared and they went public. Now the rides are expensive. Will same shit happens to ai services. Will these ai services lead to white collar gig economy? Thoughts? submitted by /u/ionicfellow
