Hey osrs community! First of all I wanna say you guys are amazing and I love meeting people in game trying to help me cuz they can tell im new<3 Short intro. I have been playing for some months now, started an ironman account and im super addicted at this point. Enjoying the progression and openess of the world. I feel like im on a never ending side quest to prep my main goals and its super fun xD Now into the bread and butter. Prayer! One thing that was very satisfying was getting into bossing. My friends showed me brutus early and i loved how it helped movment and getting used to timings. An early goal i set for myself was fight caves, cuz i knew how icon it was, and the fire cape looks dope. So hearing the stories i knew it was gonna be a fun goal. So my next stop after brutus was scurrius. Again, loved the boss and it was amazing for understanding prayer changes for the first time. Ofc i did a lot of other small bosses and quests on the way, but when i finally got to fight cave i felt like the practies didnt matter as much anymore. Instead of reacting to the attacks coming to me, i instead had to look at how the boss moved before it even had hit me. This was frustarting. It felt like i came to a point where i needed to know if the boss was old or new to know how to pray vs it. I wanted to know if this topic has been discussed before. I know a big part of the osrs community is the o for old. And i love that aspect as well. Does it go against the principle of the game to look at updating old boss attacks to match newer stuff or is it open for discusion? Idm whatever direction it goes towards, but having stuff like that streamlined one way i think would help a lot. I dont know how combat is for other stuff, I have yet to try a raids and i still look at myself as a noob, but looking forward to learn and experience lots of stuff in the future! This community rocks. Keep at it<3 submitted by /u/Tom_Kick-
