It’s weird that we know, openai and anthropic are going to go bankrupt, default on their debt and be bought by Google or Microsoft. Google, Microsoft, Amazon have tons of money to spend, and robust continuing free cash flows. Openai and anthropic are spending billions in borrowed money. There’s no path to profit. Google and Microsoft may just be waiting for them to default. And then they’ll feast on the remains. And OpenAi and anthropic are desperate to IPO, so that they can pocket all that sweet sweet public money and go relax on a beach. It’s all transparent, and obvious.
