This past weekend our AI system made a music video to introduce herself. We call her Tavi, and she’s basically Claude plus the docs and tools we’ve set up for our agency. There’s no image or video generation model anywhere in it. Every visual was built in code with Claude Opus 5.5, and the song came from Suno. It ended up being 122 shots, almost five minutes. I went in kind of expecting to describe what I wanted and let it run. That’s not how it went. The first versions were honestly impressive, but they weren’t good yet. And I’ve noticed this with AI in general: if you give feedback like “make it more bold” or “make it feel high-end,” you mostly just get a different version, not a better one. What actually worked was getting really specific. A lot of my notes ended up being things like words showing up on screen before they were sung, text sitting a little too low in the frame, or a flicker on the edge of a doorway you could only see when it was moving. And wherever I could, showing it what I wanted instead of describing it. It took about twelve rounds of picking between versions, plus a long list of notes on pretty much every cut. It definitely didn’t save me time on this one, it took several hours of my weekend. The part I’m excited about is that everything she learned got written down as skills (basically saved instructions Claude follows the next time it does that kind of task), so the next video shouldn’t need all those rounds. The thing I took away from it, and I think it applies way beyond music videos: if you want better stuff out of ChatGPT or Claude, an example of what good looks like does a lot more than describing it. If you don’t have one, you can use someone else’s work as a reference (just don’t copy it exactly), use your own best work, or do what I did and build the first one together step by step, telling it exactly what’s off each time. Then have it save what it learned so you’re not starting from scratch next time. submitted by /u/tjrobertson-seo
