Im 19, but i dont feel like im anywhere near capable at this age as my father or grandfather were, i wish to be better. I am kinda unconfident and i feel inferior to others mostly due to the fact that im pretty clumsy and not handy which i wish to become. I talked to my dad about this and he said its not a problem that much but i really want to become confident, kind, capable. I go to the gym, got some good muscle, but am not good at sports partly due to my bow legs but thats beside the point. Im scared of voicing out my ideas of a good man to my family because they all have this preconceived identity of me from when i was little and nothing interested me and i was behaving like a weak man, scared, uncapable. But now i wanna become better but i fear their reaction alot because they already think im pretty weird, but i also really dont wanna stay this way. I feel like im not worthy of any romantic love the way i am and i wanna become much better. So, i dont know how to break the cycle and make them stop treating me like a stupid kid because i will stay that way if i dont change. So dear men, please share some wisdom submitted by /u/Zealousideal_Fan_997
