Hi all! The “The Fractured Archive” plugin is now available on the RuneLite Plugin Hub! My name is LlemonDuck, and I own the existing Tombs of Amascut, Fortis Colosseum, and Sailing plugins. I want to give a little bit of perspective on how the rollout of the TFA plugin will be a bit different from other pieces of content. Even if the plugin is missing a feature you want right now, just keep it installed and you’ll get all the rapid developments as soon as they’re available. The Raid, as Designed Jagex has requested that I not add assistance features for the time being, to give players an opportunity to experience the raid as designed. As a result, please don’t immediately expect the level of features you are used to with other bosses and raids. I will work with them to add new features on a mutually agreed timeline. For those of you that were around near the ToA release, this will be familiar to you. Immediately following that raid’s release, I published the Tombs of Amascut plugin and worked with Jagex to provide a similar drip-feed of features. Those Scabaras puzzles took some time to figure out, and there were no overlays for a good while! After a few weeks, I added some helpers for the puzzle rooms only, and eventually after a few months I added some small boss helpers. However, TFA has no puzzle rooms and so we’re likely to see a longer waiting period . In order to ensure this is the case in the world of increased LLM code production, this will be the only TFA plugin for the time being. If you would like to add a new feature, please do so by contributing to this plugin instead of submitting a new one to the Plugin Hub. So What’s Allowed? This initial release contains just three features, which are all ported over from the ToA plugin:
- Party Board Highlighting: shows friends in green, and ignores in red.
- HP Orb Hider: replaces HP Orbs with health bars, or hide them altogether.
- Screen Fade Disabler: removes the screen fade transition between rooms. Please provide any requests you have for the plugin in the comments here, or on the GitHub issue tracker (which I cannot link here). And What’s Not Allowed? Basically anything that will provide in-world assistance, such as tile highlighting, HP trackers, timers, and so on. However, your existing generic plugins that are not unique to TFA, such as metronomes, NPC Indicators, Ground Markers, etc. are totally fine! These kinds of features may be permitted at a later date, but I cannot provide any sort of timeline on when or if they will be allowed. Happy raiding y’all! Best of luck, and purples all around :) submitted by /u/llamositopia
