I met this guy 2 years ago, we made out in a club. We decided to meet up properly for coffee. He was super sweet. We got coffee a few times. I ended up getting into a relationship later. When my relationship ended we caught up again. We have gone for coffee again a few times since over the past few months. He is always super sweet, and always super respectful. I get the feeling that he had no idea there was an 8 year age gap when we were making out at the club. I also feel he is too respectful to make a move on me. Although, it could be the age gap which makes him uncomfortable. For context too, I asked him if we could make out the first time, and I am usually the one suggesting we go for coffee. Our acquaintanceship is odd, I get the idea that we both like eachother but that we also both don’t really know how to progress from getting coffee. I am pretty single right now, and still thinking hes super cute. I was thinking of just biting the bullet and asking him if he’d like to come to my place sometime /some evening. Like maybe towards the end of our next coffee saying “As respectfully as possible, would you like to come over to my place sometime/some evening?” So, men in their 30s, have you ever experienced something like this? How would you feel about this? submitted by /u/Justanothername__
