I kept losing small but important project details after AI chats got compacted or summarized, so I built skyos.ink The root of the problem is capacity: a single summary block has limited space. As a project grows, the AI is forced to compress older decisions to make room for new ones, slowly dropping exact numbers, edge cases, and the reasons behind choices. It keeps a project as separate, dated notes for facts and decisions that don’t get summarized. A pricing decision, deadline, or change of mind stays visible as its own note instead of being folded into one growing project summary. You can use projects’ memory in new chats like “continue <memory>” , for example: continue Northwind pricing and pick that project back up from its saved notes. It’s a remote MCP server. It works with Codex, ChatGPT, and Claude, it’s free to try while in beta. I’d like feedback from people: what would you need to see before trusting one with a long-running project? submitted by /u/Jolly-Scientist-2484
