Hello! I have limited dating experience and, in turn, have never actually been in a relationship. I have been on dates, but the farthest I have gotten is three dates. I was recently rejected after I met a guy and let him know that I am inexperienced and wanted to take things slow. He did not say that was why, but he changed after I said that. The issue is, I cannot gain the experience if nobody gives me a chance. I was socially anxious for much of my teens and twenties (autism) and did not start dating until after I went to therapy and worked on myself and gained confidence. My first date was when I was 27 and I am 32 now. I have gone through phases of pursuing dating and taking breaks. I guess I have two questions. Does my lack of experience matter to most men? And why does it matter so much and make me less appealing? submitted by /u/lordgentofdapper
