Hey everyone, I’m currently running two separate Claude Pro accounts under two different email addresses to manage my usage limits within my budget. Because of this, I frequently switch back and forth between them. I just ran into this warning message in my terminal while running Claude Code: Claude can’t use thinking from another organization Claude’s earlier thinking was written while you were signed in to another organization, so Claude can’t use it now. It isn’t deleted: resume this session signed in to that organization to use it again. Claude’s next responses may be slower and use more tokens because it has to reread this session and generate new thinking. See docs for more: claude.com Since the session history is tied to the previous account’s organization, Claude is forcing a context reread, which burns a ton of extra tokens and slows things down. For anyone else juggling two separate email accounts on Claude Code, how are you handling this? Is there a way to isolate session histories per account, or a clean CLI script/workaround you use to switch profiles without breaking the preservation token logic? Appreciate any insights! submitted by /u/Sickle_Machine
