Assuming all players have equal gear. It is currently impossible to MVP as the freeze role in TFA. This directly contradicts Jagex’s statements in their TFA blog post where they were discussing the reasons for TFA not being a soloable raid and they touched on the topic of making sure players were rewarded equally for doing their role in the raid, and to discourage selfish gameplay. I am doing 30-40% less damage than my teammates with Chinchompas & Thralls because I’m obviously constantly freezing while my teammates auto attack with tbow/scythes. If you’re chasing purples like everybody of course should be, then you shouldn’t freeze because you won’t get the boosted drop rate from being MVP. submitted by /u/JimmerFredJune2026
