Some examples, in no particular order: Elemental shields get +1 flat armor for just elemental magic End tier kiteshields get +1 flat armor for ranged attacks End tier square shields get flat armor for just melee attacks Justiciar upgrade that gives each piece +1 for all attacks (very OP example) End tier 2h swords can give +1 for melee and ranged attacks Amulet of defense upgrade / charge consumer that gives it +1 flat armor against everything Future shield item that offers +1 flat armor against anything from a Vampire (shifting from attack type over to opponent type) It doesn’t have to be all types like the Rondache. It can also be determined by type. There’s a lot of old defensive gear that could get a second lease on life if it had some flat armor. submitted by /u/Tizaki
