I am currently 24 years old and will have to do 4 months of military starting febuary 2027. The issue is my mother is not in the best of health and I would like to be close to lausanne to come back and see her as much as possible on weekends. I think that payerne and bière have army bases. I have my 2 day recruitment in a couple of days where I will have to tell them my preferences. Are there any specific army functions for biere or payerne or any other bases in the French region? Thank you so much for any help or any other advice you might think of.
