Something that doesn’t quite add up about the AI pitch that has occurred to me when reading about the Anthropoc IPO: So the pitch is, invest in us and we’ll create super intelligent AI that will usher in a brave new world and create abundance for everyone. But if it’s going to create abundance for everyone, why bother investing? If they’re right, then money will stop meaning anything and we’ll all have everything we need anyway. submitted by /u/AlephMartian
