I’m a long time RuneScape player who only plays OSRS, and my biggest complaint about the philosophy of the nu-Jagex team in charge of what is now OSRS is that every new update - quests in particular - has to “unlock” something. We used to get many quests that were just that… fun. The questlines are what I enjoy most about the game and what made RuneScape stand out to me when I was younger. I would love to see the continuation of the Penguin questline. I would even be open to polling the Penguin Hide & Seek Distraction and Diversion and leaving it out if the community doesn’t want it. If I had to guess, that’s partly why this quest hasn’t been added, since I know “Hunt for the Red Raktuber” existed in the 2007 version of the code if not early 2008 before the quest released in 2008. The other reason would be that the nu-Jagex team can’t find or theorycraft some amazing thing that the quest would unlock. submitted by /u/CrazyTask6990
