I’m a writer and farmer in my 60s in Korea, and I write about AI. Two months ago this was the first place I tried to post about my book and game. My account was too new and didn’t have enough karma, so it was removed. So I took the same question to other communities on Reddit. The question was: if AI and robots end up doing most of the work, what should go into the contract? More than 200 replies came back. The thing people said most was “who decides?” Many of you said the rich and powerful will write the rules anyway. After that came enforcement, a floor so people don’t fall during the transition, the right to live without AI, a ban on autonomous killing machines, and a voice for people outside rich countries. None of these six is in my book. Money and data, the meaning of life without jobs, and who is responsible were already in it, and you argued hard on both sides. My book and game are not finished answers. They are a public draft. Here is why I’m doing this. 10% of every book sale goes back to the earth. At 1,000 participants, people vote on the cause: clean water, solar for remote villages, planting trees. At 5,000, people vote on the charity. The donation goes out in the name of “the readers of There Is No Mars”, and every receipt is made public. If that gets noticed, I want to carry your voices out with it, off the internet and into the room where the future is being written. That is why the count happens in the game, and why feedback from people who read the book or finished the game is kept as its own record. What matters most to you? What is still missing? The game is here, and the book is at the end of it: https://baekukhwan.itch.io/there-is-no-mars-future-contract-simulator submitted by /u/Wrong-Expression6981
