I see men online talk constantly about how important height is to women, especially the whole “under 6 feet” thing, and I’m genuinely curious where that perception comes from because I really don’t see it in real life. My boyfriend is the exact same height as me and shorter when I wear heels. My sister’s boyfriend is shorter than her, and I have plenty of friends dating men around their height. I also used to work with a guy who was maybe 5’5 and pulled more women than almost anyone I knew. He was attractive, took care of himself, hilarious, confident, respected women, and extremely charismatic. Is height actually something you’ve been repeatedly and explicitly rejected over? Because I sometimes wonder if a lot of men blame their height for struggling with women when the actual reason might be that they’re just not particularly desirable partners. Height is an easy thing to blame because you can’t change it, whereas admitting it might be your personality, how you treat women, how you take care of yourself, or how you present yourself requires actually looking inward. So I’m genuinely curious, is the importance men place on height based on your actual experiences with women, or has the internet convinced men it matters more than it really does? submitted by /u/bubblerush
