when apple comes up with a new but basic “feature” like the action button, its fanboys start glazing it vehemently like its the last piece of the 312728th puzzle to final happiness. when girls find out that some shoes, which they already own 4 pairs of, will be released in purple… they Yass and obsess and lose their minds. None of those events mentioned are life changing or asks for a stark reaction. Yet people treat it as such. I feel the same thing happeing with ai fanboys. New model? drop to your knees and suck it off coz its 13.19258% better!! but is it really that much life altering? Im a fitness trainer so i mainly use LLMs which is the most basic ai tool. My nerdy friends use it for their programming jobs. None of my videography/ content friends use ai bec everybody hates ai slop. my finance guru bros use it for analysis and stuff. but there are people out there who are €100k debt didn’t create anything. how tf can you be in that much debt, I never paid a dime for using this sh. These people in debt using ai just to brag how much their grown-ass relies on it? yes ai has its uses but not every ai user is splitting atoms and proteins and curing cancer. why do so many people act like we just invented fire when we already have pocket lighters? I feel like an ai dunce adult bec Im not in debt, my life doesn’t depend on ai and i only use LLMs in the most basic way. I have so many questions as to how rapidly we allowed our lives to change in a span of 3 years. also no I haven’t used ai for this post at all submitted by /u/Giant_SwissClocks
