I recently had to get an ID photo taken, got herself to take one with my phone. First reaction was “fuck me, who’s that?”. Genuinely didn’t recognise the person in the picture, looked older, blotchy skin. I looked like the bloke who if I saw him, I’d put him at least 10 years older than me. I’ve never thought myself so vain as to use filters on a photo, but honestly, I couldn’t wear this photo for the next couple of years. So, has anyone else used filters/AI to make their work ID look better. Look, I’m no George Clooney, but I’m beginning to think that my granny repeatedly lied to me over the years , when she told me I was “a handsome boy”. Never really liked seeing pictures of myself, but this was a genuine shock. Oh well, just have to pity the poor people who will be checking my ID and not grimacing. submitted by /u/Deep-Cryptographer49
