I’m turning 20 in about a month, and I’ve been wondering whether your twenties are really that different from your teenage years or whether people exaggerate it. For those of you who’ve already been through this stage of life, what actually changes? Your mindset, friendships, relationships, finances, responsibilities, or the way you see the world? What surprised you the most about adulthood? What mistakes did you make in your twenties that you’d warn your younger self about? And what do you think a guy in his early twenties should focus on, and what should he stop worrying about? I’m not looking for generic advice like “work hard and follow your dreams.” I’d genuinely appreciate the honest stuff — the good, the bad, the regrets, and the things that turned out differently than you expected. Basically, if you could sit down with your 19-year-old self for an hour, what would you tell him? submitted by /u/Emotional-Fennel2278
