Suppose a receipt photo contains a number that could be 18.60 or 13.60. If an AI silently chooses one and inserts it into a spreadsheet, the uncertainty disappears from the interface while remaining in the data. For expense tracking, that’s a bad trade. A better output would preserve the image crop, flag the uncertain digit, and ask for confirmation before including it in the total. Even “amount unreadable” is useful if it prevents a confident accounting error. How would you want this handled: a review queue for uncertain fields, or a confirmation step immediately after each document? submitted by /u/yi111
