I want to hear from over-functioning men who have/had emotionally unavailable or avoidant wives. Specifically the men who sincerely sought the best advice and then carefully applied it. Was there some piece of advice that actually worked? Was there something else you realized instead? I want to hear from men who did everything they could to be the very best husband they could be—the husband their wife deserved—only to still be unseen, unappreciated and unloved. And for those of you who managed, against all odds, to finally make things click and turn it around, I want to know how you did it. What changed? Please, no comments bashing women or suggesting that someone just give up and move on. I want to hear about real success. submitted by /u/Auto_Generated_Name4
