I have spent an embarrassing amount of money building a resource library for my “second brain” to make up for my memory shortcomings and I can’t for the life of me get it to look up and use the relevant knowledge when needed. I use Obsidian (PARA structure nested claude.md and agent.md) All files (20k or so) in markdown QMD And I’m disgusted at how little Claude uses what I’ve got in my vault. I see people talking about company brains and how Claude has great context about projects they’re working on and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a skill issue or I’m missing something. I’m not looking for infinite context, just an agent that recognises the need for a particular piece of information and goes and gets it before it makes a half assed attempt at answering.
