Market research toggle in Swiss Post.ch was switched on. Now it’s off. Hey Switzerland! I have noticed spam emails started to come from post.ch (e.g. choose where we deposit your packages etc.). One of my habits is: Whenever I sign up for a service I turn all email communication off and sharing data with 3rd parties. I am almost 100% certain I did it for post.ch but to my surprise, I checked the notification settings and my data was being shared with 3rd parties through “Market research” and my “Get to know Swiss Post Services” was also switched on . Seems like there was a silent update that enabled these or something (first spam email received on Oct 24). Perhaps my mistake or not, please take this as a friendly reminder to protect your data. submitted by /u/zmetak3
